Spellbound Javien Seus:

Character Past:

Javien Seus is the quilin-like deity (as in preternatural being) of delusions and deceptions who comes from the now-dead world of

Elkance.

He was considered a villain back then in his world (he wasn't outright malicious, but he was rather troublesome...)and the Council of Chosen Ones decided to capture him. However, his capture was one of the sole causes that lead to the Council's fall, thanks to his mind games. After the Council fell apart, the world was thrown into chaos as other villains jumped on the chance to seize authority. Javien escaped and went on a search for his lost voice which had been extracted from him and accidently turned into a winged reptile when one of the binding spells cast upon him by the Council went wrong. By the time he was reunited with his now-embodied voice, Elkance was falling into ruins, ripped apart by the power of other endowed magicians and deities. Its dimensions were collapsing. Elkance was a doomed world.
It was by luck that he found a world-gate by someone (Chialys ,as he later finds out) leading to Ecrestria, Gwennie and Pega's world and left Elkance.
He now goes under the disguise of an ordinary unicorn by the pseudonym of Sius Hunter.

Abilities:

Before you say he is overpowered, let me explain you a thing: Elkance was a world naturally filled with many powerful beings. It's completely normal in Elkanian standards. But being endowed with power has its drawbacks. It can lead to war, destruction, tragedy. That world is annihilated now, because of it. :I

With three horns, Javien possesses strong telekinesis, and abundant unicorn magic, making him able to perform advanced spells of transformation and mindjacking, among other things.

His middle horn is sharp and narrow like a blade, but it was not originally like that . Javien had undergone the risky process of horn-sharpening to better control his magic. It is a risky procedure that can either strengthen one's magic, or lose it completely. The two back horns are a mystery. Some would speculate that he was a dragon-blood, but Javien denies this, putting it off as a luck.

Having so much power, however, has its drawbacks. Javien can only replenish his magic by taking lives, so that has turned him into an omnivore who swallow small fishes whole even though he doesn't really need to eat. Armed with a sharp blade-shaped horn, a flexible whip-like tail and spurs on his legs (the spikes that used to be on his tail before imprisonment was _painfully removed by the Council), Javien is definitely not someone to be trifled with in a fight, not to mention that he can transform into other deadlier forms if he has to.

His voice, in the form of the winged reptile, mostly hangs around his neck and does the vocalizing, the speaking that lulls the mind into delusions and bad ideas. It can also transform into other small creatures. Javien can't get his voice back in again (like, he can't utter any sounds anymore), but he doesn't mind. Only under the form of Sius does his voice 'appear' tp merge back for a while.

Spellbound:

A deity's powers are difficult to seal, and since deities live for quite a while, the Council decided to use one of their 'darker', more permanent binding spells on Javien. It is a long procedure where the subject undergoes excruciating agony as searing scripts of symbols is imprinted onto their very coats, and heavy voidstone rings are clamped around the horns, restraining their magic abilities. The tattoos can change in pattern and width depending on how much the subject is trying to use magic. It is powered on natural magic found in Elkance and therefore thought to be a fail-safe. However, when Seus landed in Ecrestria, where the natural magic is considerably different in stucture and less, the binding spell was rendered almost completely useless, much to Javien's relief. This doesn't mean that he can get rid of the tattoos though; they still cause him pain from time to time.

Personality:

Mostly nonchalant, elusive and frustratingly vague. Sometimes mocking, calculating and manipulative.
Seus often tells 'harmless' lies even when he doesn't need to, simply because it's in his nature to. You shouldn't trust him too easily, but he could be sly enough to slip under your suspicion radar, if he was in the mood. However, after being spellbound and seeing the demise of his world, he is more sober, and not as heartlessly playful as he used to be.

No seriously, don't. I worked very hard on this; Seus is like the pet I could never have in real life I really adore him. This world doesn't need any more assholes and art thieves. Be a decent person.
